AI Disclaimer

Important information about our AI systems, their limitations, and your rights.

Last updated: 15 March 2026

You are interacting with an automated AI system. The MagnifAI assistant and any AI tools we deploy are artificial intelligence systems — not human advisers or professionals. Your conversation is stored and processed by MagnifAI on behalf of the business you are contacting. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for full details.

1. Nature of Our AI Systems

MagnifAI builds and deploys AI-powered automation tools for businesses — including AI assistants, autonomous agents, and workflow integrations. Our on-site demo and any AI systems we build for clients are automated systems powered by large language model (LLM) technology.

These systems:

  • Are not human beings. They will always identify themselves as AI systems when asked directly.
  • Do not impersonate human therapists, medical professionals, receptionists, or any other human role.
  • Generate responses based on patterns in training data and the specific instructions provided by the business deploying them.
  • May occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information.

2. No Professional Advice

Important: Our AI systems do not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice of any kind.

No response from our AI should be interpreted as professional advice or a substitute for consultation with a qualified specialist. This applies regardless of the context in which our AI tools are deployed.

  • Information provided by our AI is for general informational purposes only.
  • Any decision with legal, financial, medical, or regulatory consequences should be reviewed by a qualified professional.
  • In a medical emergency, always contact emergency services (999 in the UK) or your GP.

3. Limitations of AI

  • Accuracy: AI-generated responses may contain errors or be based on outdated information. Always verify important information from primary sources.
  • Context: The AI may not have access to your full situation and cannot replicate the nuanced judgement of a qualified human expert.
  • Consistency: Responses may vary between sessions, as AI systems are probabilistic in nature.
  • Knowledge cutoff: The underlying models have a knowledge cutoff date and may not reflect the most recent developments or regulations.

4. Automated Decision-Making & Your Rights

In compliance with UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, we are committed to transparency about how AI is used in our systems.

What automated decision-making means

Automated decision-making occurs when an AI system makes a decision about you without meaningful human involvement. Under UK GDPR Article 22, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces a significant legal or similarly significant effect on you.

How we apply this

Our AI tools are primarily used for answering general enquiries, automating repetitive tasks, qualifying sales leads, and routing enquiries to the appropriate human team member. In most cases, our AI does not make binding decisions — it assists in gathering information and taking defined actions within agreed parameters.

Your right to human review

If you wish to speak directly with a human, contest any AI-assisted outcome, or escalate your enquiry, you can do so at any time by:

  • Typing "speak to a human", "talk to a person", or "human review" in any chatbot conversation.
  • Emailing us directly at hello@magnifai.co.uk for MagnifAI-specific enquiries.
  • Contacting the relevant business directly if you are using an AI assistant deployed for one of our clients.

5. Transparency: Always Identifiable as AI

In accordance with good practice and the requirements of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, any AI system we build or deploy will:

  • Clearly identify itself as an AI system at the start of interactions and whenever directly asked.
  • Never claim to be a human being.
  • Never deny being an AI when sincerely asked by a user.
  • Clearly indicate the name of the business on whose behalf it is operating.

6. Third-Party AI Providers

Our AI systems are powered by Anthropic's Claude language model via the Anthropic API. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, prompts and outputs may be processed across multiple regions and data may be stored in the United States. MagnifAI does not train these base models. Anthropic states that commercial API data is not used for model training by default. We apply appropriate safeguards for UK GDPR compliance.

7. Conversation Data & Privacy

When you interact with a MagnifAI-powered AI assistant:

  • Your conversation is stored and processed by MagnifAI on behalf of the business you are communicating with.
  • Conversation data is accessible to both the business and MagnifAI for service delivery, quality monitoring, and improvement.
  • Any personal information you voluntarily share (such as your name, email, or phone number) may be captured and stored as a lead for the business to follow up.
  • You can request deletion of your conversation data at any time by contacting the business or emailing hello@magnifai.co.uk.

For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

8. Feedback & Concerns

If you believe an AI system we have deployed has behaved in an inappropriate, misleading, or harmful manner, please contact us immediately at hello@magnifai.co.uk. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

9. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this AI Disclaimer as our products and the regulatory landscape evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
